Piano Tuning

Standard Piano Tuning $199

Our advanced tuning service combines the finest in aural tuning with electronic sound analysis to provide the best possible tuning for your piano.

This service is designed for pianos which are on a regular schedule, typically tuned yearly.

If it’s been more than 3 years, please choose the New Customer Service – I will need the extra time to do a pitch adjustment.

New Customer Service $299

This service is designed for first-time customers and pianos which are overdue for service.

V.I.P. Service $299

Concert level care for the finest instruments. For example:

If you own one of these exceptional instruments, then you understand the breadth of musical nuance that your piano is capable of.

This extended tuning and voicing service provides the expert level of artisanal care that your piano needs to perform at its best.

Piano Repair Services

These are estimated prices based on the most typical issues.
There is a 1 hour minimum for any visit that does not include a tuning. Actual cost may vary.

Squeaky Pedal $25

Lubricate, tighten screws, and adjust pedal mechanism to mitigate pedal squeaking.

Pedal Not Working $50

This is the typical time and cost to repair a non-functional pedal, actual cost may vary.

Sticky or Non-Repeating Key $25

Diagnose and repair issues with a sticky, sluggish, or non-repeating key.

Key Not Working at All $50

Diagnose and repair a non-functional key.

Multiple Problematic Keys $75

This is a rough estimate of time and cost for situations where there are multiple problematic keys.

Piano Cleaning Services

Whether you play for fun, practice daily, or perform professionally, your piano deserves the best care.

Thorough Cleaning $149

Recommended every 5 years. This is a thorough cleaning of the inside and outside of your piano, including cleaning and polishing the case. The action and keys are removed allowing us to deep clean absolutely everything, including the under-string area on grand pianos.

Grand Soundboard Cleaning $39

This is a cleaning of your grand piano’s under-string area, as well as the felts, dampers, tuning pin area, and the plate. We have special tools that can reach where you can’t.

Piano Inspection

Informal Evaluation $99

This is half-hour visit where your piano is carefully inspected and your questions are answered.

Formal Appraisal $249

Like the informal evaluation, but includes a written report with photos, details, and estimates of current value, replacement value, etc… Most often this is what is needed for insurance, donation, or tax purposes.

Humidity Control

We are certified installers of Dampp-Chaser (Piano Life Saver) products.

Controlling the humidity level within your piano will keep it in better tune all year long. These systems will reduce the likelihood of your strings and tuning pins rusting, your soundboard cracking, and will extend the overall life of your piano.
