PIANO TUNING SERVICES

Unlike a basic pitch-match, every tuning includes a structural health check.

I focus on setting the tuning pins for long-term stability—essential for Missouri’s humidity swings.

An old upright piano partially disassembled for cleaning in Chesterfield, MO

A technical cleaning and refurbishment that goes deep into the heart of the instrument.

After your piano is disassembled:

    • The interior areas of the case are vacuumed of dust and debris.
    • The action is blown-out, screws are tightened and moving parts lubricated.
    • The keys are cleaned and moving parts polished.
    • The under-string area is cleaned.
    • The case is cleaned of residue from prior polishes.
    • The finish is deep-conditioned.
    • The case is polished and buffed.

This isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about removing abrasive grit from the mechanical centers and restoring the instrument to a ‘like-new’ state, ensuring that the piano’s environment is as pristine as its tuning.
