A simple tool to help you choose the right tuning service for your instrument.
Discover whether your piano needs a Standard Tuning or a Pitch Adjustment (included as part of the New Customer Service).
Instructions:
- 1) Give permission for the app to use your microphone (mobile phone works best)
- 2) Click the “Start Listening” button
- 3) Play Middle C and hold the key down for 2 or 3 seconds.
- 4) Repeat step 3 more times
- 5) Read the results on the checker

Important Note: This is a brand new feature and I am still tweaking it. If you get sporadic readings, it’s likely because the 3 strings that make up Middle C are so out of tune with each other that a clear reading is not possible. If this happens, it’s a clear sign that your piano is very out of tune and needs a pitch adjustment (New Customer Service).
